Description: Presentation and discussion of physiological mechanisms exhibited by freshwater and marine invertebrates and vertebrates. Primary materials used for class presentations and discussions will be examples from primary research literature. Topics include respiration, osmoregulation, stress physiology, absorption and metabolism of compounds, and hormonal control of selected physiological mechanisms. Offered in odd numbered years.
