Short Title: Legal Resrch & Writing
Description: This course provides an introduction to the field of legal research with an overview of the various legal sources and their uses. Student will be able to a certain extent, to choose subject matter of interest to research and make a legal argument. Through discussion, demonstration, and actual use of the materials in class, students are given hands-on training in the use of primary and secondary legal sources. A minimum of a 12-15 page paper, a group project and an oral presentation/defense are required. Extensive internet and library use required.
