Description: This course provides a comprehensive overview of the trauma patient. Course content emphasizes the epidemiology of trauma, mechanisms of injury, anatomy and physiology of systems as they relate to trauma and the assessment and management of injuries. This course is designed to enhance the practitioner's knowledge, refine skills, and build a firm foundation of trauma nursing.
