Description: This course has been developed especially for students interested in designing prevention and intervention strategies for children, adults, and/or families. It focuses on understanding how to plan developmentally appropriate activities for individuals, families, and small groups. Emphases include the leader's role in facilitating healthy development through the design, coordination, and implementation of activities; and understanding and application of principles of group dynamics and processes.
