Description: A beginning course in German reserved exclusively for students who have had two years of German at the ninth-grade level or above. Students who have less than or more than two years of previous German study may take this course for credit only with the consent of the instructor. Review of first and second college semesters of introductory German. Practice in spoken and wirtten german (four skills), vocabulary building, building cultural awareness. Focus on topics of everyday life in German speading countries through texts, music. video, internet, as well as grounding in basic structures of the German language.
