This course also introduces information about government structures and political activities in selected countries, which are used to gain a comparative understanding of different political systems. We will focus on advanced industrial countries (Great Britain, Germany, United States); Communist and Postcommunist countries (Russia and China); Newly Industrializing Countries (Mexico and India); Less Developed Countries (Nigeria); and the Islamic World (Egypt). |
