Description: Readings in, lectures on, and discussions about the major and minor philosophical figures from the Renaissance through Kant. This includes fairly intensive study of the works of Descartes, Spionoza, Leibnitz, Locke, Berkeley, Hume, and Kant. Contemporary non-philosophical figures such as Newton and Calvin may also be considered.
