Description: Undergraduate pharmacy students demonstrate mastery of patient counseling that meets guidelines from the Indiana practice standards and OBRA '90, including drug description, uses, major adverse drug effects, drug/drug interactions, therapeutic contraindications, special directions and precautions, and other relevant information such as reasonable dose ranges, for the 150-160 most commonly prescribed drugs in community pharmacy practice. Emphasis is on self-study with lecture support.
