Description: Four weeks of field instruction and practice on an integrated project during the summer following the junior year. Projects include client meetings, work scheduling, survey design, field observations, survey adjustment and analysis, map and report preparation, and final oral presentation. Projects typically involve aspects of one or more of the following: engineering surveys, land surveys, control surveys, topographic surveys, route surveys, and construction surveys. Different locations will be utilized each year and not necessarily on the Purdue campus.
