Description: An introductory and essential background in population genetics. By incorporating examples from many biological disciplines (human genetics, medical evolution, human evolution, and endangered species), it should make the theory of population genetics relevant to students in any field of biology. Topics will also include a review of mathematical modeling and probability theory, as well as modern molecular tools being applied in population genetic studies.
