Description: An introduction to the provision of pharmaceutical care services to institutionalized patients. An overview of the delivery of pharmaceuticals and the provision of clinical and administrative services is presented along with the various roles pharmacists play both within the pharmacy department and the institution. Course content focuses on services and career development rather than on drug therapy. Leaders from institutional settings throughout the State serve as the faculty for this course.
