Short Title: General Chemistry
Description: Laws and principles of chemistry, with special emphasis on topics of importance in science and engineering. Numerical problems and relationships are introduced whenever quantitative treatment is possible. Preparation equivalent to one year of high school chemistry is strongly recommended for students enrolling in this course. Students with inadequate preparation should enroll in CHM 100. Required of students majoring in chemistry, physics and engineering.
