Short Title: Exploring Teaching
Description: Students will become familiar with the work of teachers and begin to develop their educational philosophies through examining what it means to teach and to learn and the nature and purpose of schools. Students will critically evaluate teaching as their chosen profession. Includes a weekly field-based experience in an elementary, middle, or high school classroom. It is highly recommended that EDCI 270 be taken with or before taking this course.
