Description: | This course is designed to provide the medical technologist with the principles and application of clinical chemistry. Methods of instrumental analysis include a variety of automated procedures, electrophoresis, immunoelectrophoresis, immunodiffusion, radioisotopes, steroids, hormone assay, and toxicology. Quality control for clinical chemistry is included. Supervised clinical laboratory experience is offered, with students rotating through the various areas of clinical chemistry on a sequential rotational basis. |
