Description: This course focuses on the structural basis of the functions and dysfunctions of diverse membrane proteins, analyzed by X-ray, electron microscopy, and spectroscopy. The functions include transport, biogenesis, and transmembrane signaling. Unique problems associated with the structure analysis of integral membrane proteins are discussed.
