Short Title: Voice Class
Description: The objective of this course is to familiarize participants with the basic skills needed for successful performance: vocal technique, music reading skills, and artistic presentation. This course will also assist participants in developing beneficial habits for successful performances including topics such as practicing techniques, tools for analyzing music, vocal health, research, and repertoire choices, to name a few. Students will be required to perform three songs for memory during the course of the semester. The final performance will likely take place the last week of classes in conjunction with the other sections of V101. The individual teacher will determine additional coursework.
