Description: This course continues the introduction to the study of mind and behavior begun in P101. The second semester focuses on psychology's efforts to understand behaviors that reflect the interaction of the organism with its environment. Our purpose in this course is not only to learn what researchers have discovered, as though we were casual consumers of psychological advice. Instead, because we are students of the science, we will pay at least as much attention to the methods by which questions are formulated and answered in Social, Developmental, and Abnormal psychology.
