Description: Judicially accepted principles for interpretation of existing descriptions and rules guiding the writing of new descriptions. Senior rights and adjoiners, mathematical correctness, rule of intent, monumentation, nonlinear boundaries, weight of descriptive items, modification of existing descriptions, and partitioning of parcels. Right-of-way procedures. Systems of recording property descriptions in Indiana; boundary surveys, resurveys, and retracements. Surveyor's responsibility in research of records, documents, and field evidence.
