Description: An intensive and comprehensive introduction to all essential aspects of the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and enterprise applications, including modeling, methodologies, and processes, enabling technologies in support of integrated and collaborative enterprise computing applications. Topics include XML and Web service protocols, enterprise application and data integration issues, service-oriented architecture, SOA analysis and design (SOAD), and enterprise SOA realization, SOE-driven project management, and case studies. Student participation in presenting technical papers from the recent literature, class discussion, and a team-based final project and presentation are expected.
