| Description: | This course does not carry credit toward degree requirements in computer technology. A study of relational databases and their applications with special emphasis on the proper techniques of database construction. Instruction will center around learning how to design databases and operate a database management system in a Windows environment. Students will build projects and develop systems for the storage, manipulation, and retrieval of large amounts of data on the personal computer. This course is designed for non-computer technology majors who have had a modest exposure to computers. |
