Description: This course is designed to provide students with basic fundamentals needed for the provision of drug information in pharmacy practice. Emphasis is placed on the evaluation, interpretation, and practical implications of primary literature on the delivery of pharmaceutical care. Concepts of formulary management, medication use improvement, medication safety, and evaluating and reporting adverse drug events will also be reviewed.
