Become a Teaching Academy Member
Membership in the Teaching Academy recognizes outstanding and scholarly teaching in the graduate, undergraduate, or engagement programs of Purdue University. Members of the Teaching Academy help promote the scholarship of teaching and learning, and share their expertise across campus with their colleagues. Each spring individuals with a passion and commitment to teaching who have been recognized as outstanding teachers by their students and peers are encouraged to be nominated by their Dean for consideration to be inducted into the Teaching Academy.
The procedure for selecting new members and a template for the nomination are available via links on this page. The deadline for nominations is February 16, 2024. Questions can be directed to the Teaching Academy through the Chair, Kim Illingworth, at teachingacademy@purdue.edu
