Shuff is founder, owner and operator of Chicago-based DryHop Brewers. He began brewing beer in his college apartment and has since been included in Zagat's 2013 list of 30 under 30 Chicago's Hottest Up-and-Comers. In the past three years, DryHop has made Eater.com's national list of 23 Hottest Craft Beer Bars in America and Thrillist.com's Best Burgers in America 2013. The brewery was mentioned by Full Service Restaurant (FSR) Magazine in its article "40 Under 40: FRS's Rising Stars," and won Best New Brewery in the TimeOut Food and Drink Awards.

Longest and Crowley are co-founders of The Lala, an online publication targeting young women that informs and inspires readers with trendy, uplifting content. Now based in New York City, the website, which began modestly as a Purdue-specific fashion and lifestyle blog, now has an editorial team of 200 college creatives, all working toward their goal of positively representing and supporting young women.

As a pre-Global Entrepreneurship Week event, Indiana-based serial entrepreneur John Wechsler spoke to the capstone on Tuesday (Nov. 11), discussing the development of entrepreneurial ecosystems and his recent venture, Launch Fishers, a 16,000-square-foot launchpad for startups and high-potential enterprises. The co-working space, located north of Indianapolis, is open to anyone participating directly or indirectly in the entrepreneurial activity - from "single-shingle" designers to "intrepreneurs" representing larger companies. Wechsler also is founder of Wishoo and co-founder of both Chideo and Formspring.

The Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation serves more than 1,800 Purdue students each year and integrates 300 new students each semester. To receive the credential, which is similar to a minor, students complete a series of five classes or experiential learning programs. The program is housed in the Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship and led by the Purdue Office of the Provost. It is available to Purdue undergraduate students in all majors.
