WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. –Brad Paisley, along with Parmalee and The Swon Brothers, will perform at 8 p.m. Feb. 7 at Purdue University's Elliott Hall of Music.

This performance is presented by Purdue Convocations and the Purdue Student Concert Committee with support from the Student Fee Activities Board.

Brad Paisley

A critically acclaimed singer, songwriter, guitarist and entertainer, Brad Paisley's talents have earned him numerous awards, including three Grammys, two American Music Awards, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards and 14 Country Music Association Awards.

Paisley earned the first of his 22 No. 1 singles with 1999's "He Didn't Have to Be." His latest top 20 single, "Perfect Storm," is from his chart-topping 2014 album "Moonshine in the Trunk."

Paisley held the record for most consecutive No. 1 country hits in the "SoundScan" era, beginning in 2007 with "Waitin' On A Woman" from "5th Gear," his eighth straight No. 1. This record was held until 2013, for a total of 10 consecutive No. 1 hit singles. He is also a 2001 inductee of the Grand Ole Opry, the youngest person at the time to have been inducted.

Parmalee

A tight-knit Southern country-rock band, Parmalee consists of brothers Matt (guitar, vocals) and Scott Thomas (drums), cousin Barry Knox (bass), and childhood friend Josh McSwain (guitar, keyboards), all of whom grew up together near Greenville, North Carolina. The band meshes bluegrass, traditional country, southern rock, and blues into a country-rock sound. Their latest single, "Close Your Eyes," from their 2013 album "Feels Like Carolina," charted in the Top 20 on the Hot Country Songs Billboard chart.

The Swon Brothers

Officially becoming a performing duo as teenagers, brothers Colton and Zach Swon toured and did shows around their home state, releasing CDs on their own label. In 2013, they came into the public's eye when they auditioned for the fourth season of NBC's hit singing competition "The Voice." The show' s exposure helped to vault them into the public's eye and greatly expand their fan base, with their most recent self-titled album reaching No. 6 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.
