Purdue Tailgate Town to host Boilermaker fans in Indy

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Boilermaker fans can attend Purdue Tailgate Town, located just south of Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, prior to Saturday’s (Sept. 13) football game against Notre Dame.

The event, which begins at noon at closes at 8 p.m., will be at the corner of West McCarty and South Missouri streets.

There will be no parking permit sales the day of the tailgate, as all space has been sold. While all parking spaces are sold, fans are still welcome to walk through the lot at no charge and check out the impressive tailgate set-ups. Purdue Tailgate Town is just a five-minute walk to the stadium. Food, beverages and Purdue spirit items will be available for purchase from noon until game time.

Purdue’s “All-American” Marching Band will make an appearance at Tailgate Town from 5:30-6:15 p.m. At approximately 6 p.m., there will be a short pep rally near the Boilermaker Depot at the entrance to Tailgate Town. These events are free and open to the public.

There also will be prizes awarded throughout the day, and the Boilermaker Depot will be the central location for everything taking place at Purdue Tailgate Town.
