Prosecutor approves Purdue proposal to share video

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Tippecanoe County prosecutor on Thursday (Aug. 21) approved Purdue’s proposal to post on its website the security video showing the detention of an Exponent photographer by law enforcement officers in Purdue's Electrical Engineering Building immediately after a Jan. 21 homicide in that building.

On Wednesday (Aug. 20), Purdue received court authorization to make the video publicly available pending sign-off by the Tippecanoe County prosecutor.
