January 17, 2014

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The Books and Coffee series, co-sponsored by Purdue University's Department of English and the Purdue Student Union Board, will begin Feb. 6.

The 64th annual Books and Coffee will be held from 4-5 p.m. each Thursday in February. The events are free and open to the public. Free coffee, tea, cocoa, cookies and brownies will be available from 4-4:30 p.m. Following the 4:30 p.m. presentation, a drawing will be held for prizes, including books, donated by local businesses.

The presentations are for a general audience so people who have not read the books are welcome to attend the events, said Venetria Patton, Books and Coffee coordinator.
