Wagner talk rescheduled for March 7

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - A talk by Tony Wagner, author of "Creating Innovators," which was originally set for 11 a.m. Thursday (Jan. 23) in Fowler Hall, has been rescheduled for March 7.

Wagner's interactive presentation was to be on the need for changes in the way students are taught at all levels of the education system.

The talk will serve as the kick-off event for the College of Technology's new Purdue Polytechnic Institute, which will embrace this approach to student learning as it begins course offerings this fall. Sponsors are the Purdue Polytechnic Institute, College of Education, College of Liberal Arts, Purdue Honors College and the Discovery Learning Research Center.
