Purdue Libraries to extend hours as students prepare for finals

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue University Libraries will extend hours at four facilities to help students prepare for final exams. 

The John W. Hicks Undergraduate Library will be open around the clock from Dec. 2-15. The Hicks library opens at 1 p.m. Sunday (Dec. 2), and will close at 5 p.m. Dec. 15. 



The Siegesmund Engineering Library will be open continuously starting at 11 a.m. Sunday (Dec. 2) through 5 p.m. Dec. 15. 


The Humanities, Social Science and Education Library will extend its hours until 2 a.m. Dec. 9-13 during finals week.

 The Roland G. Parrish Library of Management & Economics will be open continuously starting at 11 a.m. Sunday (Dec. 2) through midnight Dec. 7. Saturday hours will be 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and beginning at 11 a.m. Dec. 9, the library will be open continuously through 6 p.m. Dec. 14.

All other libraries will remain open normal hours.


The locations with extended hours will serve coffee and refreshments periodically during finals week.
