Convocations offers group sales to campus and community

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue Convocations' 2012-13 season kicked off with performances from "American Idiot" country superstar Brantley Gilbert, "Rock of Ages," and blues legend Buddy Guy.

The season also includes the lighthearted musical "Shrek;" "Circus Oz," direct from Australia; and the world renowned Joffrey Ballet performing "The Rite of Spring."

Group orders through Purdue Convocations are available to groups of 10 or more, and groups may receive one free ticket for qualifying performances. Student and group discounts are available for most events. Visit http://convocations.org/group-sales for a complete list of qualifying performances. Presentations may be arranged for any Purdue or local organization by contacting the Convocations office at 765-496-1977.

Purdue Convocations is a department within the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs dedicated to enriching the lives of students and the local community through the performing arts. Convocations offers 30-40 performances of varying genres. Purdue Convocations connects artists and audiences through entertaining and educational professional arts programs.
