Orange Custard

Yield: Serves 6
Serving Size: 1/2 cup


  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 1/2 cups orange juice


  1. In a saucepan, combine the sugar and cornstarch. Blend the eggs and add the orange juice.
  2. Cook over low heat, until smooth and thickened. Do not let the custard boil or it will become curded.
  3. Portion into dessert dishes. Chill immediately.
