These materials were originally designed to offer a streamlined approach to incorporating expert substance use related content into core nursing curriculum. They have been developed by content experts at Purdue University and Baylor University. The team received guidance and review of materials from an advisory panel of experts from across the country who work in the field of substance use treatment.
This work is made possible by funding from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) grant #FG000062 and grant #1H79TI085525-01. SAMHSA is not responsible for the content of this educational package.
