The words Ask an HHS Expert over a Purdue West Lafayette campus scene.

Is it safe to crack your knuckles? Why do we get goose bumps? Does eating turkey really make you sleepy? How much caffeine is too much?

Purdue University College of Health and Human Sciences (HHS) experts are answering these and other everyday health questions in the popular YouTube series Ask an HHS Expert. Since the series began in 2022, it has covered more than 60 topics, with “Why do my ears ring after a concert?” and “What can I expect when getting an MRI?” ranking first and second, respectively, among the most-viewed videos.

Do you have a question you’d like a Purdue HHS expert to answer? Send it to HHS, and it could be the next topic featured in Ask an HHS Expert.
