  1. The H2.A problem solution video is showing that it is set to private for me on Youtube, so I’m unable to confirm whether I did that problem correctly. Does anyone have access to it?

  2. For HW2.B, is it possible to get the final answers without using all of the information given? I managed to get the final answer for all a b and c without using the given value of h=15ft, and also without finding the value of L, which I don’t know if it’s necessary.

    1. Many times in physics courses, the information provided will be in excess of what is needed. If you do enough trig using the graphics, you can solve it only using the givens for T, d, b, and Beta, and if it wasn’t part of the problem, one could skip solving for phi entirely. I’m pretty sure the height here is added as a possible extension to the question, or simply to confuse the student.
