Davies - 12:30 - F23

Video Links to Lecture 36
Some technical difficulties here, apologies, so it is in two parts.
Part 1   Most of the lecture and Part 2 End of the second example.
This is about free responses of undamped systems, where the total response is just the homogenous (or complementary) part of the solution and the particular solution is 0.

Video Link to Lecture 35 for Friday November 17th, 12:30-1:30 class.
This is the first lecture for Chapter 6 where we look at vibrations of objects.  This covers the basics of using all of your kinetics and kinematics knowledge, plus some knowledge on how to set up the position and motion direction to derive the equation of motion.

Video Link to Lecture 15 for Monday September 25th, 12:30-1:30 class. (coming soon)
This is the last lecture on 3D moving reference frames.  Here we have points moving relative to the moving reference frame.  Also, we look at an example where we don't give the moving reference frame xyz all the rotations, just 2 out of 3 of the rotations.

Video Link to Lecture 3 for Wednesday August 25th, 12:30-1:30 class. (coming soon)
This is about cylindrial coordinae kinematics: position, velocity and acceleration in cylindrical coordinates.  The unit vectors in 2D cylindrical co-ordinates are usually changing direction, so build on Lecture 2's differentiation of unit vectors with respect to time when they are changing direction.

Video Link to Lecture 2 for Wednesday August 23rd, 12:30-1:30 class. (coming soon)
This is about path variable kinematics: position, velocity and acceleration in path coordinates.  The unit vectors in path variables are usually changing direction, so there is a bit about how to differentiate unit vectors with respect to time when they are changing direction.

Video Link to Lecture 1  for Monday August 21st 12:30-1:30 class.
This is about class content/rules/website/....  and also the start of kinematics of particles: position, velocity and acceleration in cartesian (xyz) coordinates.
