Insu Jo
Insu Jo is a plant ecologist specializing in the interactions between plant species and their environment within terrestrial ecosystems. His research covers various aspects of ecosystem dynamics, with a particular focus on temperate forests. He explores how anthropogenic disturbances and climate change influence ecosystem processes and functions, providing insights into the ecological mechanisms behind plant community assembly.
Prospective students
We welcome students interested in pursuing research in forest ecology, plant community dynamics, and the impacts of environmental change on ecosystems. Prospective students should be passionate about ecological research and eager to contribute to understanding the complex interactions shaping terrestrial ecosystems. If you are interested, please send an email to Insu (insujo@purdue.edu), with a CV and a statement of interest.
