Registration is open through June 16, 2023 for the Advancing Graduate Research Impact in Society certification program for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.

Registration is currently open for the Advancing Graduate Research Impact in Society certification program for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.

The purpose of this certification program is to foster the development of engaged scholarship. The professional development program will help increase knowledge, skills and experience translating research in ways that help solve societal problems.

The program is open to any graduate student or postdoctoral fellow enrolled at Purdue’s West Lafayette campus. Participants will meet weekly on Tuesdays from 3 to 4 p.m. to learn how to become engaged scholars, develop community partnerships, interact with diverse communities, evaluate engagement activities and communicate engaged work.

Registration is required and spaces are limited, so early registration is recommended. Registration closes June 16. There is no fee to participate.

All sessions will take place in-person throughout the Fall 2023 semester at the Purdue Graduate Student Center, 504 Northwestern Ave., Room 105.
