The grant emphasizes reciprocal relationships and measurable community impact aligned with Purdue’s land-grant mission.

Eligibility
Open to Purdue faculty (tenure-track, clinical/professional, or lecturers) from any discipline at the West Lafayette or Indianapolis campuses.
Proposal Requirements
- An interdisciplinary team of at least two faculty from different fields
- A chosen focus area
- A designated community and research partner
Required Deliverables
- A project logic model (by Oct 1, 2025)
- Participation in the Engagement Fellows Community of Practice
- Submission of at least two scholarly products
- A project impact report (by Aug 31, 2026)
- Participation in the 2026 Community Impact Summit
Proposal Components
- Cover Sheet (1 page): Project title, abstract, team info, budget request
- Project Summary & Budget (max 4 pages): Includes the issue being addressed, research questions, timeline, community partner involvement, assessment/evaluation plans, scholarly output, anticipated impact, and detailed budget with justification
