The Life Science Career Event is an attractive venue organized for students by students and sponsored by the Purdue Institute of Inflammation, Immunology and Infectious Diseases, the Purdue Sesquicentennial Celebration, and industries. The 2018 Event is scheduled for April 5, 2019 at the Purdue University campus in West Lafayette, Indiana. This day-long event will begin with student delivered talks on their research covering (but not limited) to immunology, infectious diseases, virology, veterinary sciences, and systems biology. A career development session will feature an Employer Panel Discussion with representatives from varied industry positions. During an afternoon Career Fair, there is opportunity for one-on-one discussion and interviews with graduate student and post-doc attendees to recruit for your full-time and internship positions. A networking happy hour reception will end the event and allow graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty, recruiters, and sponsors to connect and share their work.
