Max is a freshman in Mechanical Engineering Technology.  He volunteered in the lab is because he was running 3D printers throughout high school. He saw the lab on campus and knew that he wanted to work in there. He loves seeing what other people print; though he equally loves running and maintaining the printers as well. He hopes to find a career focused around 3D printing or prototype development, so the lab has been a huge help in his goal, as he has to trouble shoot problems almost daily and is constantly helping people with their prints. What he loves is to be able to teach people about 3D printing and see them print things off that they designed. In fact some of the coolest things that he has printed and that he has seen printed are items that students created themselves. There is something rewarding about designing a model in CAD and then being able to actually hold and interact with it a few hours later.
