Setting a Characteristic
Setting a characteristic from the Authorizations menu adds a private characteristic to a selected PUID. You can also set a
private characteristic for a PUID (or alias) that has not been selected.
To set a characteristic, you have to know the PUID or alias and the desired characteristic number.
Enter either the PUID or the alias and the number of the desired private characteristic. Click on the Set
Characteristic button.
Note the private characteristic 123456 has been added and the Authorized By column shows the PUID
of jpurdue and the date and time the characteristic was set.
