Purdue United Way Campaign to end next week, still needs pledges to make goal

Purdue’s 2021 United Way campaign needs more support to help reach its goal of $725,000. As of Tuesday (Nov. 9), the campaign was at $480,328. With just over a week left in the campaign, Megan Eberly, director of Purdue United Way, would like to encourage Purdue employees who have not yet pledged toward the campaign to do so before the campaign ends on Nov. 17.

Veterans Success Center

Veterans Success Center connects students to Purdue military history, helps them maximize their education

Most new college students start when they’re 18, looking to find themselves and their path, adjusting to adulthood. Jamie Richards, director of Purdue’s Veterans Success Center (VSC) and advisor to the Student Veteran Organization (SVO), says the people he helps usually find themselves with different strengths and different challenges from what a typical college freshman may experience.


Veterans Day salute to take place at Union

Purdue will celebrate veterans Thursday (Nov. 11) at a Veterans Day ceremony in the Great Hall of Purdue Memorial Union. The Purdue Student Union Board will host a tribute at 11 a.m.

Concord Law School at Purdue University Global, however, did not skip a beat. Nicoletti-Martínez has touched the lives of thousands of farmworkers throughout the years. Nicoletti-Martínez is being honored for her service with a 2021 national Jefferson Award for Outstanding Public Service by an Employee.
