Reminder: Reportable Outside Activities

Faculty and staff are reminded to disclose their Reportable Outside Activities for the 2021-22 fiscal year through the online reporting system. The online system is located on the OneCampus Portal and at this login webpage. To assist faculty and staff in determining what needs to be reported, the Office of the Vice President for Ethics and Compliance provides a list of frequently asked questions.

Purdue mobilizes resources to meet record demand

This time a year ago, most organizational decisions at Purdue focused on safely reconfiguring the campus learning environment amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Now comes a new set of considerations related to campus density. As the pandemic subsides, Purdue’s leaders are working to determine the necessary steps to safely create a new normal in the post-COVID world. They do so while preparing to welcome the largest freshman class in University history into the student body.

Energy-efficient method proposed for using 100% outdoor air in buildings

By now, it’s well known that circulating outdoor air in buildings is safer than recirculating indoor air. That point was driven home by the pandemic. Problem is, it’s just not cost-effective. That may soon change. Purdue engineers have proposed a system that combines new membrane technology with the latest HVAC systems to make 100% outdoor air systems more energy-efficient and economically feasible.
