Purdue will unveil new campus master plan
Oct. 12

The campus community and the public are invited to an unveiling event for the new West Lafayette campus master plan following the Purdue University Board of Trustees meeting on Oct. 12. The new plan, replacing one from 2009, leverages recent investments, such as the State Street Redevelopment Project, the Wilmeth Active Learning Center and the Centennial Mall renovation, and focuses on themes that will be key in the future: connectivity, collaboration, vibrancy, sustainability and flexibility.

'First Man' Neil Armstrong a testament to giant dreams for Purdue students with their own

Geoffrey Andrews is a self-described aerospace and aviation nerd. He dreamed as a little boy of traveling at hypersonic velocity — five times the speed of sound. So it’s no surprise that Andrews ended up halfway across the country from his hometown of Long Valley, New Jersey. He is at Purdue University, college home to 24 U.S. astronauts including the most famous of all, Neil Armstrong.
