Parking, traffic plan set ahead of Thursday's football home, season opener

Purdue University police have set parking and traffic plans for Thursday’s (Aug. 30) football home and season opener when Big Ten rival Northwestern visits Ross-Ade Stadium for an 8 p.m. kickoff. Garages and lots will be affected for faculty, staff and students parking Thursday on campus.

Dawn or Doom speaker: New technology routinely becomes a new threat

Drones and autonomous vehicles may make our lives easier in many ways, but they're also likely to be used as weapons intended to terrorize. Eric Matson, an assistant professor of computer and information technology at Purdue, will discuss the technologies' potential for good and evil at Purdue’s annual Dawn or Doom conference in November. Dawn or Doom is part of Purdue’s 150th anniversary celebration.
