Mashtare, Walters receive teaching awards

Michael Mashtare, assistant professor in the Department of Agronomy and in Environmental and Ecological Engineering, and Becky Walters, clinical assistant professor in the School of Nursing, have been honored with the 2018 Exceptional Early Career Award. The two professors were surprised with the news on Tuesday (March 20).

Drew Feustel, Purdue alumnus astronaut

Purdue alumnus Drew Feustel suits up for third space mission

From studying car design in community college and racing in the Purdue Grand Prix to exploring for oil to servicing the Hubble telescope, Andrew "Drew" Feustel has had anything but a typical career trajectory. Drew, a veteran of two spaceflights, today (March 21) is scheduled to launch to the International Space Station, where he will join fellow Boilermaker astronaut Scott Tingle.
