Mason named interim dean of Graduate School

Linda Mason has been named interim dean of Purdue's Graduate School, effective Aug. 1. Mason is currently associate dean of the Graduate School and has been a professor of entomology at Purdue since 1991. Mason replaces Mark J.T. Smith, who is moving to the University of Texas at Austin.

Photo gallery: Purdue Motorsports M-STEM student fair and evGrand Prix

Purdue Motorsports hosted the high school evGrand Prix and M-STEM3 student fair Tuesday (May 16) at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Indy 500 winner Alexander Rossi stopped by the student fair to share the important role science, technology, engineering and math played in his win last year. Students also got to see STEM in action at the evGrand Prix. A photo gallery of both events is available here.
