Bicentennial torch returns to Purdue today along the state relay routeIt will be in familiar territory when the state's bicentennial torch follows the Indiana Torch Relay route today (Oct. 12) to Purdue. The east-to-west trek across campus is part of the daylong route in Tippecanoe County. The torch is expected to reach campus at 10:30 a.m. at North Grant Street and Northwestern Avenue. * The Physical Facilities Grounds Department has planted blue and gold annuals along the bicentennial torch route as part of a Bicentennial Legacy Project (photo above). Details * Purdue faculty, staff, students and alumni will carry the torch across Tippecanoe County. Details
