Provost's Advisory Committee on Diversity identifies goals, metrics in report

The Provost's Advisory Committee on Diversity has released a report identifying 10 areas of action that will serve to educate the Purdue community about diversity and inclusion, provide tools for greater knowledge, skills and awareness, and implement transformative practices relevant to diversity, sensitivity and inclusion. The ACD report also includes new standards of accountability and assessment to capitalize on strengths and address weaknesses. The report is available here.

Did You Know?: Purdue University Creamery

From the mid-1910s until 1969, Purdue faculty, staff, students and visitors had the chance to stop by the Purdue University Creamery on campus where they could purchase fresh ice cream. The creamery was housed in Smith Hall after a gift of $50,000 from William C. Smith, a farmer from Williamsport, Indiana, to fund a building dedicated to instructing students on the principles of modern dairying.
