November OIRAE briefing examines fall 2013 cohort persistence and academic distress

A recent report released by Purdue's Office of Institutional Research, Assessment and Effectiveness examines the academic progress of 6,319 students who began attending Purdue in the fall of 2013. The report, available here, looks at factors such as cohort persistence and academic distress. A public forum to discuss the topic will be held 10-11 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 9) in Stewart Center, Room 279.

Purdue social scientists are attending the Paris Climate Summit, COP21, to understand how underrepresented and marginalized groups are represented and what role they play in international environmental negotiations. Kimberly R. Marion Suiseeya, assistant professor of political science, and Laura Zanotti, associate professor of anthropology, lead the Purdue team.
